Following the New Testament model of compassion and inspired by Eugene Peterson’s phrasing of 2 Corinthians 8:14—“you’re shoulder to shoulder with them all the way, your surplus matching their deficit, their surplus matching your deficit”—we walk shoulder to shoulder with those in need. Your surplus meets their deficit, and their gifts enrich ours.
Join us in making a life-changing impact in Zambia by providing food, shelter, and hope to those living in deficit. Experience how our Zambian brothers and sisters’ abundance of faith brings healing to our own lives.
That’s why we are dedicated to serving our brothers and sisters through practical, compassionate solutions: offering food and water support, safe shelter, and empowering communities to thrive. From distributing monthly food supplies to developing water and agricultural infrastructure, we are committed to serving those who need it most.
The challenges of poverty and instability are every Christian’s responsibility. The resources exist, and the hands willing to help are ready. It all comes down to a choice: those with abundance choosing to share with those in need.
On behalf of the entire Shoulder 2 Shoulder team, thank you for standing with us—shoulder to shoulder—to rebuild lives and restore hope.

purpose
You're shoulder to shoulder with them all the way, your surplus matching their deficit, their surplus matching your deficit.

our dual approach
relief projects
Shoulder 2 Shoulder is dedicated to providing essential food relief to vulnerable households in Zambia through monthly food distributions. Our mission is rooted in compassion and community support, ensuring that those facing food deficit receive consistent, life-sustaining aid. With over 60,000 bags of maize distributed to date, we are committed to combating hunger and bringing hope to families in desperate need.

Infrastructure development
Beyond immediate relief, Shoulder 2 Shoulder focuses on long-term development through sustainable agriculture, clean water projects, and housing support. From building bore-hole wells to developing the Shoulder Farm Initiative aimed at improving crop management skills and soil health, our efforts are designed to empower communities to thrive independently.
